1) How do I add or remove favorite spots?
Open Today → tap the pin icon → manage your favorite spots (up to 3).
2) Alerts are not coming through. What should I check?
- Open iOS Settings → Notifications → Surf Window → enable Allow Notifications
- In Surf Window → Settings → ensure alerts are enabled
- Make sure Focus/Do Not Disturb is not blocking notifications
3) Why does the app show “No data” or outdated conditions?
- Check your network connection
- Try refresh (or reopen the app)
- If you’re offline, the app may show cached data
4) How do I change wave height / tide preference rules?
Open Today → tap Adjust Rules → update Wave Height and Tide Preference → Save Rules.
5) How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Surf Window → Cancel.
